Certification in Latvia when required

Welder staffing for Latvian manufacturing

Certified welders (EN ISO 9606-1, processes 135 MAG and 136 FCAW, MIG, TIG) for Latvian factories. Our people already work at Caljan and RT Metāls — both Danish-market industrial manufacturers.

Short answer: Welder staffing in Latvia costs €19.50-22 per hour, all-inclusive. We supply Indian welders from the JCB factory and Filipino welders with Persian Gulf shipyard/EPC experience. Where the project requires it, we arrange certification in Latvia before mobilisation. Delivery: 5-7 days (already in Latvia) or 2–3 months (visa countries) from contract signing. The minimum engagement is three months.

How we source welders

1. Scope alignment

We lock down material groups, thicknesses, positions, joints. Certification scope, where required, is aligned with your production.

2. Video pre-vetting

Each candidate is filmed performing test welds at origin. Your QC pre-approves only those meeting your visual standard.

3. Mobilisation & certification

Approved candidates are mobilised to Latvia. Where the project requires it, they obtain a fresh EN ISO 9606-1 certificate at an accredited certification body. Whoever fails is not sent to your site.

4. On site with QC approval

Your QC practical approval before production. If a welder fails in the first two weeks — we replace at no extra cost.

How quickly can welders be deployed?
Welders already in Latvia — 5-7 days. Visa countries (India, Nepal, the Philippines) — in practice 2–3 months from contract signing; 3 weeks for Brazil and Colombia — typical practice. The process includes the mandatory NVA vacancy listing (14 days), PMLP invitation approval and a D-type work visa at the embassy (4-6 weeks).
