This website (spekanoma.lv) is operated by SIA "Las Palmas", reg. no. 42103079906, with its registered office at Rietumkrasta iela 2-11, Liepāja, LV-3416, Latvia (the "Company", "we", "us"). For any privacy-related questions, contact us at spekanoma@spekanoma.lv.

2. What Data We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Name, company, email and phone number, when you submit the contact or offer-request form
  • Details about your staffing need (industry, headcount, timing, location)
  • Any additional information you choose to send in messages or attachments

Information you provide as a job seeker

If you complete the job seeker form (/en/apply), we collect:

  • Name and surname
  • Phone number or WhatsApp contact
  • Trade and any work experience you choose to describe
  • Your status in Latvia (temporary protection, residence permit, EU citizenship, or currently abroad)
  • City or region and earliest start date

The form does not ask for, and you should not send, passport copies, personal identity numbers, bank details or any special-category data. If such data is sent to us anyway, we delete it.

Information collected automatically

  • Browser type, device type, language and approximate location (city level)
  • Pages visited, time spent on the site, referring source
  • Anonymised analytics events (via Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation)

3. Why We Process Your Data (Legal Bases)

  • Contract performance / pre-contractual measures — to respond to offer requests and provide our staffing services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Legitimate interest — to improve the website, secure it against abuse, and analyse usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and marketing communications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — to retain certain business records as required by Latvian law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Job seeker applications — processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), solely in order to offer you work. We do not sell this data, do not pass it to other labour providers, and do not send you marketing. As a work placement provider licensed by the Latvian State Employment Agency (licence No. 47/2024), we charge job seekers no fees of any kind.

4. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the last interaction.
  • Active client data: for the duration of the cooperation plus 10 years (accounting law).
  • Job seeker applications: 6 months from submission, then deleted. If cooperation begins within that period, data is retained under employment and accounting law. You may request deletion at any time by writing to spekanoma@spekanoma.lv.
  • Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers acting as data processors on our instructions: hosting (Cloudflare), analytics (Google Ireland Limited), email infrastructure, accounting software.
  • Public authorities, where we are required to do so by law (e.g. State Revenue Service, NVA).

6. International Transfers

Some of our processors (e.g. Google) may transfer data outside the EEA. In those cases, the transfer is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep the site working and, with your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: HTTPS encryption, restricted internal access, regular software updates, and provider-side security on hosting and analytics platforms.
